Product Overview

Short-Circuit Withstand Current Tester is a dedicated device designed for performing short-circuit withstand current tests on electrical equipment such as EV charging guns, circuit breakers, distribution transformers, ring main units, cable distribution boxes, and connectors.

It fully complies with the short-circuit current withstand capability verification test requirements specified in the relevant clauses of IEC 62196-1:2025.

The system features an industrial all-in-one computer for display and parameter setting, a PLC controller for process control, and a data acquisition card for waveform measurement. It delivers a test current of up to 10 kA.

The AC power supply adopts a high-power multi-magnetic-circuit AC power source with an adaptive current control loop. The voltage test mode uses isolated voltage superposition, supporting a maximum test voltage of 1000 V.

The equipment offers user-friendly operation, quick product installation, automatic testing, automatic judgment functions, and high intelligence and reliability.

  • High-speed data acquisition enables real-time monitoring of current waveforms with microsecond-level (μs) time resolution.
  • The current source adopts a multi-magnetic-circuit AC power supply with digital control, delivering high accuracy and excellent stability.
  • The voltage uses an isolated design, creating a 1000V potential difference with the equipment housing (ground terminal) while reducing power consumption.
  • Supports testing of overload currents at 2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0/5.0/8.0/10 times the rated current (i.e., 50~10000A).
  • Compatible with testing of various device specifications.
  • Capable of measuring and recording the relationship between current and time.
  • Features comprehensive protection functions including over-voltage and over-current protection, which automatically cut off output and trigger audible-visual alarms when triggered.
  • Records real-time test data for easy review and traceability.
